We aim to provide top class care for all aspects of hand and wrist injuries and surgery from simple conditions you can manage yourself at home to complex reconstructive surgery. Our team can offer advice regarding your problem and work together with you to speed your recovery.

Consultants

If you have injured your hand or wrist or have a longstanding issue, a Hand Doctor Practice Consultant will see you personally in clinic for an initial consultation. You will have imaging if necessary and should be able to leave your appointment with a diagnosis and treatment plan.

Should you need onward referral to another Consultant this will be arranged. You may need Hand therapy with one of the specialist hand therapists that we work with; this will also be arranged. If you need complex imaging such as an MRI or CT scan, we can arrange the referral and provide you with all the details to book the scan at your convenience.

Admin Team

Our admin team will arrange follow up with the Consultant as needed and if your condition needs a surgical procedure this will all be arranged with you and your Consultant will ensure that you have ample time to ask the questions that you may have before proceeding.

    Shifra is a teacher and a proud mum of 3. She loves reading, going on country walks, keeping fit and boxing. Shifra enjoys cooking and baking, especially whilst watching Nicholas Cage films!

  • Amanda Bellamy

    Amanda has a business degree and has worked in various business sectors including investment banking, corporate social responsibility and the charitable sector. Her favourite role was making children’s wishes come true when she worked at The Walt Disney Company Ltd. She has travelled extensively and used to enjoy jumping out of aeroplanes and hiking to the top of snow-capped mountains. These days her hobbies are more relaxed and less dangerous; she now enjoys yoga, outdoor swimming and walking.

  • Dancy Jeyachristy

    Dancy graduated with a Maths degree (w/ finance and accounting) in 2024 and we are delighted she joined our team in August 2025. A proud cat mum to Kutty, Dancy loves to spend time with family, crochet items for friends and their pets, travel and eat good food.  And she is also quite partial to a Tesco meal deal or two!

  • Karen Gold

    Practice Manager

    Karen has been running Mr Horwitz’s private practice for the last 14 years and initiated the growth of one Consultant practice to the multi consultant Hand Doctor Practice. She graduated in Geography from University of Manchester and worked in the international conference business for 10+ years organising internet & telecoms conferences. Karen settled back in London after living in South Africa for a while. These days travelling is limited to holidays with her family and friends and she also enjoys swimming, cooking for friends and her Peloton bike.

  • Eshan Jay Kshatriya

    Eshan comes to us after achieving a distinction in his Masters in BioEngineering, which was about physiological hand simulators development. This is a research area that Mr Horwitz is involved in, which fortunately led to our crossed paths. Eshan is enjoying living and working in London, (even the weather!) and is a fun addition to our office team.

  • Sarah Maurice

    Sarah has previously worked within the beauty, media and not for profit sectors. Sarah is a mum of two children and in her spare time she really enjoys walking, socialising and going to the theatre.
