“Good morning. I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Mr. Horwitz and all the staff for taking such great care of Arthur yesterday at the Cromwell. A very relaxed and friendly experience from start to finish. We got home around 8pm last night and Arthur was in really good spirits.”

“I just wanted to say a big thank you to Mr Horwitz – I am so delighted with both operations and wish I had had them done ages ago. Please would you pass this on to him – so often people do not bother to say thank you! It really was so easy and painless and if there is anyone who I know has this problem, or indeed any hand problem, I will point in his direction immediately!”

“My mother visited Dr Shaerf today and, on the way, to see him she had nothing but praise for him as she had dealt with him before, she said what an amazing doctor (consultant) and man, he was very patient with me and even though I missed an appointment he made it easy for me to book another one. As I went with her to her appointment what my mother said was absolutely true, the manner in which he dealt with her was to an extremely high standard and very thorough and understanding he made my mother leave with a smile on her face. Thank you Dr Shaerf.”

“….I broke my wrist in a bike accident last year…. the flexibility in my wrist has come back nearly 100%. I managed to go through an entire 90 minute advanced yoga class the other day and it didn’t feel uncomfortable once. This is all down to the incredible service, expertise and support I received from Mr Horwitz and my brilliant physiotherapist. Thanks so much…”

“Please pass on my sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr Tomas Tickunas, he was extremely professional, kind and helpful”.

“Thank you to you (Karen) and Mr Horwitz for your exemplary teamwork in looking after XX both clinically and administratively – it has made it all so easy. XX absolutely loved Max…”

“Dr Shaerf recently operated on my hand at Ealing hospital and the care he has provided has been absolutely excellent. I was concerned that due to the injury sustained that I may not have full use of my hand again, but Dr Shaerf talked me through my options and advised me of how we could achieve the best result possible. Having surgery is naturally a worrying time but I was made to feel completely at ease and all of my questions were thoroughly answered. I have private medical insurance in place but following my first consultation with Dr Shaerf he filled me with such confidence that I opted to stay under his care. I am delighted with the results of the surgery and am now on the road to recovery… I cannot thank Dr Shaerf enough for his patience and expertise!”

“Dear Mr Horwitz, I just wanted to say a big thank you and let you know that as both myself and XXC were successful at getting ST3 orthopaedic numbers in London on our first attempts this year. You have a 100% success rate as a clinical supervisor! Many thanks again for your advice and help last year…”

“Dear Karen, this morning I saw Mr. Horwitz, who did the manipulation of my hand (following my collagenase injection earlier this week). Could you, please, be so kind as to convey to him my thanks for the admirable way it was done. Not only the actual procedure and the accompanying explanations and instructions for the coming days, but also his kind and caring way of communicating with his patient made us happy and grateful. Kind regards”

“He is quite a remarkable man – a great surgeon. But mostly the ‘man’ himself is hugely praiseworthy. He has an ability to look you straight in the eyes, gives you what could be devastating news but at the same time giving such reassurance that you know you are in great hands. Working closely with my oncologist he performed terrific surgery on my finger, leaving the neatest scar – a work of art! But mostly I was able to watch an ‘artist’ at work, someone who paid enormous respect to his team – from the lowest to the highest member, who was gentle, kind and considerate to all around him, not forgetting the patient! I can’t praise Mr. Shaerf enough – as a person and as a surgeon.”
